"If stories bring contour and texture to our lives, then Sense of Place is where you will find some of the most interesting shapes. It’s a rare interviewer that goes into such depth and breadth as Minelle. I thoroughly enjoyed being on the show.”
– Claire Cameron, best-selling author of How to Survive a Bear Attack, The Last Neanderthal and The Bear.
For three years, I hosted a show at Roundhouse Radio, 98.3 Vancouver. The program was unapologetically anti-racist and feminist in its approach, and I had a great team of folks helping me put it together.
Our approach included bringing on board talented columnists – people like Wade Deisman, a criminology professor at Kwantlen, and Cynthia Callison, an Indigenous lawyer – who gave us the rich opportunity to reach out to folks whose stories are rarely told in mainstream media.
